This Scientist (was odder than most)

This scientist
was odder than most.
His laboratory
overflowed
with every inch covered
with gadget pix:
knobs on the wall,
charts, and graphs,

machines humming,
test tubes on racks,
hoses gurgling,
monitors churning,
and every 10 seconds
electric arcs cracked!

When showing the visitor
he said to the quizitor
who asked,
What’s left
to complete your lab?”

“I’d like even more ….
bubbling for sure:
but it seems that I’ve
run out of tacks!
