Why Aliens will look like Earthlings

January 10, 2019

Why will ALIENS almost surely look like EARTHLINGS?

Two words, CONVERGENT EVOLUTION – in this case it works for two planets!

For life to start there must be a planet in the Goldilocks zone. That includes a temperature range that allows for liquid water.

But it must also have a certain atmosphere.
When the planet is too big, like Jupiter, it has the wrong atmosphere. When the planet is too small, like our Moon, it doesn’t hold in an atmosphere. Wrong atmosphere, wrong chemistry – no life.

That means that life planets always have THE SAME GRAVITY!

That means that the life on those watery planets with the same gravity will have life that faces the same natural selection as our planet.

That means that life anywhere will evolve to the best ways to: SWIM, WALK, FLY, and BURROW!

Convergent evolution means they will come up with virtually the same solutions to how to best swim, walk, fly, and burrow, that life did on Earth.

SO, if aliens are ever found, they should be much the same as life on Earth – CONVERGENT EVOLUTION!

Want to go to Mars?

January 20, 2018

Want to go to Mars?

Yes, everyone would be excited about a manned mission to Mars,
Yes, I love science, and have even written a huge sci-fi novel* that is a history of the future that features colonies on Mars. Yes, that would be great but first ….

The science community has to find some solutions for problems here on Earth. Solutions that end poverty, get clean food and water in abundance for all, end major diseases, devise low cost power, and combat global warming,

THEN, everyone will be on your side and behind you. Then everyone will cheer when the first rocket sails for the Red Planet, lands and returns.

First things first. Then go with the world’s blessings!

Holding Genes Passes Genes

December 8, 2017

Holding Genes, Passes Genes!

This article, “Holding Infants – or not – can leave traces on their genes,” supports an idea I’ve had called “Carrying the Baby.”

My sci-fi novel, “Writings in Science a History of the Future” suggests that a key reason for the development of humans brains are ‘carrying the baby.”

First humans (hominids) walked upright. This led to their hands free – not only for war (most scientists are men) – but for carrying the baby.

This led to a stronger mother child bond, that I suggest supported everything from language development, to human intelligence.

Read the article, then read my sci-fi novel, perhaps the biggest ever written. Now available at all major streaming book sites.

Biology – The Danger Of Over Washing

October 13, 2017

Suggestion – the over washing or over medication of our bodies harms or destroys our microbiome, the good bacteria that protests us from diseases.
