3 Customers or 150 Million?

April 3, 2018

Fact, Three People have more wealth than the poorest 150 million people in the US.

That is clearly a poverty versus wealth issue. But let’s take a moment to look at it strictly from a business point of view, just for discussion.

Businesses, which do you prefer having 150 million customers or trying to get all your business from 3 people?

Do you think those 3 spend more time shopping than the 150 million do?

Which group buys more of your product now – the 3 rich, or the 150 million?

Would you profit more if the 150 million had more money to shop with?

Maybe if we went with a build up economy instead of a trickle down, there would be more customers for virtually all the businesses in the US.

Maybe it’s time for businesses to see that the greed of the few takes away most of your customers too.

People vs. Corporations

March 2, 2018

The paradigm is shifting from
CONSERVATIVE versus LIBERAL to CORPORATIONS versus PEOPLE.

Day after day it’s becoming more and more clear. Both are fighting for control of the government. Corporations usually win.

Look at this list of problems facing the nation. These major problems all have something in common. PEOPLE vs. CORPORATIONS.

1. NET NEUTRALITY
People want it. Major media corporations don’t.

2. OPIOID CRISIS
People addicted. Drug corporations making big profits.

3. BANKING CRISIS
People lost their homes. Banks got 700 billion dollar bail out.

4. MASS SHOOTINGS.
People want reasonable gun laws. NRA / Gun Lobby opposes change.

5. F – 35 FIGHTER JET ( Cost 1 trillion dollars)
Capital enough to end poverty in the country. Weapons Manufacturers.

6. TAX REFORM.
People got little reform. Corporations got massive tax cuts.

7. MUSIC
Music costs more, sounds worse. 3 CEOS control 80%.

The list is just started. What would you add to it?

We have three political parties, the Republican Corporate Party, the Democratic Corporate Party, and all the rest of us that don’t have lobbyists.

The Planting Song (poem)

February 19, 2018

The PLANTING SONG

Hear ye! Hear ye! Hear ye!
Time for a planting song.

May this field be fertile
and the seed in the ground fecund.

May the Sun be bounteous and the rain nourishing.

May crops grow tall and cover the ground in color,
and ripen when full, free of pests.

May all this happen and we be blessed!

Hear ye! Hear ye! Hear ye!
Time for a planting song.

During these changing times, it’s important that we keep trying what hasn’t worked in the past, continue to block out any new solutions, and wring our hands or sit on them, when nothing gets better ….
