Top of Their Field and Favorites

April 8, 2018

Dear Reader,

Through my 25 years, and 200 issues of the arts and media zine Musea (1992-now), I’ve met many excellent musicians, painters, writers, photographers, filmmakers, etc.

Here are some that are personal favorites, but I also think that they are at the top of their field and they deserve world recognition for their achievements.

Gregory K. H. Bryant – art

David McGhee – photography

Sara Niemietz and Snuffy Walden – music

Michael Helsem – writing

Scott Jacob Loehr – music

Ace Backwards – blogging.

Sparrow – poetry.

David Darling – science website, writing.

TYT, The Young Turks – online news.

The New Issue of Musea, Now Online

November 15, 2017

Dear Musea Readers,

The new Musea issue (a double issue) #201/#202 is out, in your mail, at a few places in Dallas, or online.

The main article, besides some catching up after the 100 pager 200th issue, is 27 CENSORED ART NEWS.
The media may be doing OK in what it covers, but it’s not good at the news it never covers!

Go to the big website tomhendricks.us and elevator up to floor #5. Then click on the Musea website.

Here is a sampling of news stories you’ve never heard anywhere.

The 27 specific censored issues in the arts, culture, and media include; no protest songs allowed on any mainstream radio in the US, public domain mess or why isn’t Mickey Mouse in the PD, political book deals with massive advances, Hollywood makes millions but theater workers make lowest wages allowed, 3 CEO’s control 80% of music (Warners Universal Sony) and 1% of musicians make 70% of the money…

Thanks to Matthew Creed, the webmaster for Musea for posting the issue.
