For those who had older brothers! (poem)

I took a bite
of my scrambled eggs.
Big brother, hands crossed,
is watching me.
“So what if that’s
a dinosaur egg?
You think she won’t
make a dinner of you?
You’d better watch
over your shoulder
all the rest of the
days you have left …
No oatmeal mom
is chasing me!”

Wonderful poem, juxtaposing the reader suggests to them they need to be awake; and isn’t that life, opening to awakening? Thanx. reality (aja) 🙂
