Musea Art Contest for the end of April

April 30, 2013

The answer to, and winner (if any) for, our last contest question of:
Lots of big paychecks go to TV personalities. Who on the TV screen makes the most money?
Judge Judy!!! Judy Sheindlin makes $45 million a year and according to TV Guide, is the highest paid person on TV. Oh and she only works 52 days a year!
I had no correct eligible answers. I’ll have to judge you clueless on this one.
I don’t dumb down/so please wise up.

Now on to a new Q.: Win a copy of my NEW cd CALLED ‘30′! – (first anti-band CD) or my NEWER cd CALLED ‘NEXT”(‘06) or my NEWEST cd CALLED ‘THIRDS” (May ‘07) or my MORE NEWEST cd Called “FOUR-TH” (‘08) or my MOST NEWEST cd CALLED ‘5-TH (Nov.’09) or my MORE NEWEST NEWEST cd CALLED ‘6-TH’(Feb ’12)( one of the 6 CD set). (has them all plus videos and more) if you are the first to E-MAIL ME AT THIS ADDRESS: tom-hendricks @ blanks of course) with the correct answer to this art question.
DEDICATION: These contests are dedicated to my sister, Peggy, who answered more of the questions correctly than anyone else.

FINE PRINT: The CD prize is only available to those with mailing addresses in the US. Foreign winners will have to settle for the miniscule fame alone, and the satisfaction of a job well done. But don’t forget you can listen to all the music on the website, whether you won or lost – and I’d be glad if you did!

Way back in time when animated cartoons were just starting out, a classic was done by Windsor McCay called “Gertie The Dinosaur”. Check it out on youtube. (Windsor McCay was known for the beautiful and elaborate Little Nemo newspaper comic strip). But there is something technically wrong with this Brontasaurus picture. What is it? Good luck!

Readers, IF you like these puzzles and would like to resend them to friends, post them on any newsgroup, or any website, please do so. The more the merrier! For tons of past quizzes go to, the musea website at or the Musea blog at And don’t forget the music/videos at Friends welcome) (all my videos)

Why I am Banned on NPR Music Comments

April 29, 2013

Right now I am banned from posting any comments on the NPR, National Public Radio music website.  They won’t tell me why. But I can tell YOU why.

I oppose generic band music. For me it is time for something that doesn’t follow the same style of 60 years ago.

I oppose revenue sharing. That’s when they get money for selling recordings through their website. I am a musician that openly opposes that.

I support the best of indie music like the 200 song Big List.

When rock and roll becomes everything it started out opposing, good musicians should oppose it to get something new. NPR hates hearing that. How about you? – Tom Hendricks (alias Art S Revolutionary, alias Hunkasaurus and His Pet Dog Guitar.)
