Cloud art or Ebru is the art of marbling – that wonderful book design technique used for inside book covers on very expensive books. Paints float on a watery paste, then paper is placed on top and printed.

This astronomical discovery, one of the biggest scientific discoveries of the last century, wasn’t first announced in a scientific journal like almost all big discoveries, but in the NYT in the November 23, 1924 paper. Name this big discovery and it’s discoverer.

GOOD LUCK!

National Hiring Day – Jan 19,2010

November 26, 2010

Time to call for a National HIRING DAY.

People need to set up a day that corporations are called on to hire. A specific day, such as JANUARY 15, 2011,when Corporations are called to show patriotism ahead of excess profits and help their country in hard times. What do others think? Time for people to call for a Corporate Responsibility Day.

NYT article on corporate profits

Lost Tapes: The Spanish Melody (part 1 and 2).

November 23, 2010

LOST TAPES:  Two original guitar pieces in the Spanish classical style.

The SPANISH MELODY (part one).

Spanish Melody (part one)

The SPANISH MELODY (part two)

The Spanish Melody part two

The SPANISH MELODY part one.

This first is the lost tape. It’s a poorly recorded live tape of one of the hardest guitar pieces for me to play! From the 80’s I think.

The SPANISH MELODY part two.

This is the studio version from “Four-TH” the fourth CD in my 5  CD Set.

Let me know what you think of these two.
