People Power – Power when the lights go off

There may be a very very low tech solution that would help get power even during power outages. Here’s how: Turn a water wheel or windmill sideways and you have a revolving door or turnstile.
Connect Generators to Revolving doors of skyscrapers, or turnstiles at stadiums and you have people power Рeven in a blackout. Free, clean, renewable, on site, and even healthy, power.  Why sit on your hands waiting for the power company to fix the problem, when you and your neighbors could get power by walking through a door?
