The answer to, and winner (if any) for, our last contest question of:
Look up starving artist in a dictionary, and you’ll likely see a picture of Vincent Van Gogh. During his painting decade – he only painted for about 10 years tops (1880′s) – he had little money, and all that came from his brother Theo (though for the life of me, I don’t get it – Theo worked in a GALLERY and never got his Brother’s work SHOWN IN THE GALLERY!) Well I divulge. Let’s continue. There was one thing that Vincent splurged on, with the help of Theo. He bought 500 of these at 2-4 francs each. What did he buy so much of? Clue: It wasn’t any painting supplies, but it was connected to art.
Japanese Prints. They were all the rage for the rebel artists. For more:
I had no correct eligible answers – Seems you were a few francs shy of the answer on this one. I don’t dumb down/so please wise up.

THIS WEEK’S QUESTION
This question is a visual puzzle. You must go to my blog first and see my painting titled “Past and Future” that features a statue from the past, and a very futuristic Moon Maiden. This work was – believe it or not – inspired by a classic painting of Rembrandt. Look at my painting, then send me your best answer – this is one where only I KNOW the answer. Good luck!
